Soon to be released on Vinyl and CD, the digital version of our self titled EP is available now as MP3.
Recorded in 2008 at La Chunky Towers Recording Studios (Glasgow, Scotland) & Barnwest Studio (Lenzie, Scotland), the EP features guest performances by Hector MacInnes (Injuns/Mylo) and is a mix of French House influenced Rock meets 80s alternative.
Picked this up on vinyl this morning (Icehouse – Flowers) before heading to the studio. Think it’s a good sign? Turns out the very 2″ tape machine we have been recording on @ Massive Masters was used on the album (“Can’t Help Myself”) ..

We’ll be on 4ZZZ FM tomorrow morning around 11am, and are playing X&Y Bar in Brisbane this Saturday night @ 10pm..
Live review in Rave Magazine, 12th April 2011

“…Brisbane locals The Videomatics are playing an early slot, but there’s something really compelling about them; they play dreamy, synth-y rock and wear their influences pretty heavily, but while you can hear bits and pieces of The Cure, My Bloody Valentine and especially M83, the young band carry themselves with confidence, and are clearly accumulating a decent collection of hooks…” – Alasdair Duncan

“One of the first albums I ever listened to was a cassette copy of London Calling by The Clash, given to me for Christmas by my uncle as a kid (along with a copy of Hindsight by The Church).
Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Mick Jones – one of my childhood heroes, alongside Joe Strummer and the rest of the gang – after his show playing guitar for Gorillaz. People say you should never meet your idols, but it was a pleasure to get to hang out and chat with him, and he seems to be having every bit as much fun and mischief on stage as ever.”
